The festive quarter has just started and most homes in different parts of the world will be found to be filled with joy, celebrating the beauty that surrounds them. Another characteristic of most homes during this quarter will be the warmth that is spread not just by love and laughter but also by exotic candles that subtly impart their charming fragrance laced aura. In a similar way, stands and holders add a touch of warmth to candles. Here are some of my faves for this festive season!

Available in silver and gold, this tea light candle holder has a soothing zen effect on it's surroundings. While Cosmogalaxy sells it for $40, our Indian friends can get if for close to Rs 1000 at fab furnish and Goodlife.

This pretty floral holder looks elegant and classy in its gold and white combination. It is very versatile and can be used either by the doorstep to welcome guests, lined in small groups atop a chest or even in the prayer altar. Available at pepperfry for Rs.345, this delicate piece might seem a little extravagant. 

ExclusiveLane 3-In-1 Metal Hanging T-Light

A great fusion of modern and traditional, this hand painted metallic set of 3 comes with a detachable chain, allowing it to either be hung in your open areas or kept on a surface in the interiors. Chaurangi Candle Holders

These hand-crafted candle stands are from Varnam which is known for using natural colors in its designs. The candle stands serve a dual purpose - it can hold a tea light on one ended and when inverted, it can hold a regular candle on the other. We love that it is so colorful and seem perfect for festive occasions. At Rs. 690, it is a little pricey.
