Q W E R T Y Sofa by ZO_loft

How often have you fallen asleep on the keyboard at work or at home? And every time, after finding sharp keyboard imprints on your face, have you wished for a cushioned, comfortable and adjustable keyboard ? ZO_loft seems to have heard that little voice and has developed this amazingly simple but interesting QWERTY Sofa design to make your wish come true.

Globally recognized for its award winning designs, ZO_loft is an architecture and design firm based in Italy. The concept of the Qwerty Sofa bed was developed by its designers Andrea Cingoli, Valentino Castelli, and Umberto La Sorda. Their design is intelligent as well as aesthetic. While it certainly has the power to grab your attention owing to its keyboard motif, it also has the capacity to revolutionize the way we relax on our sofas and beds.

This keyboard inspired design is perfect in our computer obsessed lives and has closely followed its actual structure. Every 'Key' cushion on the Qwerty Sofa is individually attached to a stainless steel frame. The 'Keys' are supported by a small electric motor which is remote controlled. Thus, with a single remote control, the Qwerty sofa can be easily configured into various positions...into a flat bed for napping, a sofa for relaxing, an armchair for working or any customized position for your convenience.

The Qwerty Sofa is the perfect sofa for lounge areas in modern technology companies like Google and many others that take pride in the quality of their work and living spaces. It adds a large amount of fun and creative designing to its surroundings and could be the head turner in its space for a long time. We are waiting for this concept by ZO_loft to come into production soon!!
