'At Your Command' Mannequin Lamps

Imagine living among mannequins. Now imagine the mannequins have no heads, but wear deep black hats over their necks. And then you take away all the curvy human shape and make them more puppet-like. Then, drop a dollop of sparkling gold paint, add some light for it to glow and boom, you have a classy human sized mannequin-lamp, ‘At Your Command.’ Except of course, someone else thought of it before we did!

Singapore based designer Daniel Loves Objects released the prototype of the ‘At Your Command’ gold plated mannequin lamps which are fully articulated and can therefore be customized into various positions, depending on your mood and occasion. This is where you get a chance to make a statement by positioning the mannequin into anything that could possibly be provocative, controversial or downright ridiculous.

These exceptionally creative lamps are designed in two sizes - as floor lamps and table lamps. While the human sized floor lamp is 1.7 m tall, the table lamp is 0.8 m tall. Both have the same features and can be moved at each joint. 

For those who like being surrounded by golden people that don’t talk and are almost ideal, these lamps are such a delight. Make them lean against the wall, crawl over the table or just salute to you at the entrance!! It’s your space, finally, You get to rule it!!
