Kangeri - Kashmir Inspired Radiators from Tubes Radiatori

Kashimiri Kanger
Necessity is the mother of invention. And that, is how the ‘Kanger’ was invented, many years ago, by Kashmiris in the Northern regions of India. A work of art, the Kanger is almost a ‘personal heat radiator,’ if you will. It consists of an earthen pot filled with coal and embers carried in a wicker encasement with handles. To this day, Kashmiris carry the Kanger under their long closed cloaks to combat the chilly winter weather.

Now, you may wish you had a ‘Kanger’ too, for it seems like the quickest way to get rid of cold shivers. But without practice, you’d have to worry about fire hazards, burning yourself and always having your hands occupied while carrying this ‘mini fireplace’ under your cloak.

To your rescue, Satyendra Pakhale has combined the efficiency and mobility of the Kanger with technology to create the ‘Kangeri Nomadic Radiator’ - a modern, hassle free, mobile radiator that will keep you warm this winter.

A plug-in portable heater, the Kangeri creates a zone of warmth by heating up places close to the user. It’s smartly mounted on three wheels, making it easy to maneuver around your home or office space.

Made from powder-coated aluminum with an integrated oak wood handle, the Kangeri comes in two color options - black or white. It has a funky red cord that complements the modern bulbous shape.
